About John Carter, B.Mgt. - Residential, Multi-Family & Investment Specialist

Education & Professional Experience:

John completed his Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge’s Edmonton Campus and started his career as a Realtor in 2002. His real estate experience started three years before when John bought his first investment property while in his second year of university, and by the time he graduated had successfully completed his first condo conversion project of a 12 suite building in Edmonton. His experience since then has lead him to assist many clients acquire, sell, convert and profit, from many projects in the past few years. John has expanded his personal portfolio of properties along with his clients’ and is proud to say he has real life experience as a successful real estate investor as well.
John’s professional, friendly, accountable, analytical, detailed diligence and realistic approach to Real Estate is what attracts clients who work with him on our team.

Memberships & Designations:

John belongs to many professional organizations to keep at the pulse of the ever changing real estate market. John was graciously elected by his peers to the Member Services Committee of the Realtors Association of Edmonton and has served from 2006-2008. He also belongs to the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) in Edmonton, the Edmonton Apartment Association (EAA), NAIOP - Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and is a past member of Business Networking International (BNI).

Interests & Hobbies:

John’s personal interests are varied, and include world travel, exercise, mountain biking, basketball, golf, multiple water board sports as well as spending quality time with his fiance Ashley, good friends and family.

Recent Awards:

2010 - "100% Club" from RE/MAX of Western Canada, and "Excellence Award" from RE/MAX River City.

2009 - "Top 25 Excellence" and "Top 3 Commercial Transactions" from RE/MAX River City .  Our great office holds their annual Awards Breakfast once a year to congratulate the hard working Realtors in this office for their exceptional work within the City of Edmonton and surrounding area. We are proud to be a part of such a great core group of Realtors and are thrilled to be acknowledged for what we enjoy doing on a daily basis.
